If you would like these shipped with manifolds as pictured, please select YES to the manifold surchage. A £150 refund will be issued once we have received your stock manifolds back and have passed inspection, we are unable to accept cracked / damaged manifolds back.

This is our OEM replacement upgraded turbocharger based on the Original turbocharger for the BMW S55  inline-six-cylinder Twin-turbocharged engine.

 Engineered & Enhanced
One of the biggest issues with the S55 Mishibushi turbochargers is turbo failures, with stock turbos failing and bypassing oil from around 40-60k miles, the most important issue was to resolve and improve this weak link. Installing a stronger bearing pack, we use a twin-feed oversized thrust bearing which has been modified to allow a fixed thrust bearing.

These Stock UPGRADED replacement Turbos are designed to be a simple plug-and-play hybrid turbo, retaining completely stock Compressor and Turbine wheels, yet having upgraded internals for reliability

Precisely balancing our turbochargers is a key critical factor to becoming a reliable upgrade unit as power is pointless without reliability. Firstly parts are balanced at slow speeds up to 2800RPM in multiple planes using our single parts machine, then components are assembled and then the CHRA are dynamically balanced, but this time depending on application at up to 250,000 RPM in multiple planes using our in house VSR machine to acquire the ultimate equilibrium, to a standard far higher than OEM. Each turbocharger is supplied with a serial-numbered balance test result document.
