WGM700 UPGRADE TURBOCHARGER BMW TWIN TURBO S55 ENGINE

The WGM700 is our very latest hybrid performance upgrade turbochargers based on the Original turbocharger for the BMW S55  inline-six-cylinder Twin turbocharged engine. Superfast spool and response with extra power. We feel this is the best-performing 630-680HP pump fuel hybrid turbo, with up to 750HP with Octane improvements such as Methanol.

 Engineered & Enhanced 

To construct the WGM700 Stage 2 Hybrid Turbocharger we change the original compressor and employ a larger and more efficient billet wheel with extended tip technology, changing the Trim A/R and milling the compressor cover to the optimum gap to match the new compressor profile.  We change the Original exhaust turbine for a larger 9 blade high-flow item to lower EGT and raise the power potential but maintain a great boost response profile,

One of the biggest issues with the S55 Mishibushi turbochargers is turbo failures, with stock turbos failing and bypassing oil from around 40-60k miles, the most important issue was to resolve and improve this weak link. Installing a stronger bearing pack, we use a twin-feed oversized thrust bearing which has been modified to allow a fixed thrust bearing.

The Stage 2 Turbo is designed to be a simple plug-and-play hybrid turbo to yield extra output while retaining as close to stock response as possible.

Equilibrium

Precisely balancing our turbochargers is a key critical factor to becoming a reliable upgrade unit as power is pointless without reliability. Firstly parts are balanced at slow speeds up to 2800RPM in multiple planes using our single parts machine, then components are assembled and then the CHRA are dynamically balanced, but this time depending on application at up to 250,000 RPM in multiple planes using our in house VSR machine to acquire the ultimate equilibrium, to a standard far higher than OEM. Each turbocharger is supplied with a serial-numbered balance test result document.
